Mt. Dora Pet Siting Dog Solo Hiking Adventure: your dog will benefit from a one-on-one dedicated hike and outdoor exploration with one of their favorite human friends (me).
I will spend at least 90-minutes exploring new sights, smells and sounds on one of our local trails and get an extra dose of on-leash positive reinforcement training. This service is great for dogs who love hikes or pups who need more focused exercise than a walk in the neighborhood.
The service includes pick-up/drop-off services so it’s even easier than daycare!
New puppy? Mt. Dora Pet Sitting offers special services designed to support the process of potty training, early learning, and basic skill development for young dogs with the consistent schedule that proper housebreaking necessitates.
As your puppy’s developmental needs evolve over the first nine months of their life, Mt. Dora Pet Sitting will ensure that your new bundle of puppy love gets all the necessary potty-training support and bladder relief he or she needs so that you don’t have to worry about rushing home on your lunch break to avoid an accident.
We can also provide extra feedings, consistent engagement, and basic training reinforcement – and many cuddles and pets, of course! If you’re crate training, you probably know that crate trained puppies need a break every 3-4 hours for proper training and socialization – consistency is key for new pups, and we are here to help!
Potty breaks can be brief walks, yard time, and/or play time, with or without feeding – whatever you prefer or is needed at your puppy’s stage of development, we are here for you!
Drop-in pet sitting visits are great for pets that need care while you’re out of town, but not necessarily an overnight snuggle buddy. (Many cat owners choose this option for their, ahem, independent furry roommates.)
Each visit can be scheduled in 15-minute increments (as long as you’d like, and as often as you need), and include the following:
- Care for your pets as many times per day as needed, making every attempt to maintain your pet’s regular routine. You’ll notice we said pets, as in, plural.
- All the love, hugs, tummy rubs, and attention your pet needs
- Fresh food, water, and treats
- Walks, exercise, and playtime
- Medication administration
- Cleaning / tidying up of pet areas
- Potty breaks and cleanup of pet waste
- Home-related care, like collecting newspapers, mail, and packages, watering your indoor/outdoor plants and gardens, alternating lights and blinds, putting out trash, caring for your outdoor wildlife (squirrels / birds).
- Any other reasonable pet or home care—we personalize every visit to accommodate you and your pet’s needs!
Mt. Dora Pet Sitting offers professional Overnight Pet & House Sitting for those pets who prefer to have a frequent human presence (and a person to cuddle with them at night!). Let’s face it: pets are happiest when they’re in their own home.
With our Overnight Pet Sitting Service, your pets can stay in their own environment even when you can’t be there. You can feel secure knowing that your home has the added measure of security that Overnight Pet Sitting provides; your home is taken care of, in addition to your pet.
Consider this option the closest thing to being home yourself.
Overnight Options
- Standard Overnight: This service is modeled after a typical 8-5 workday schedule. Your pets will have a max 8-9 hours alone during the day, then companionship in the evening, and overnight. Overnight pet sitting includes a minimum of late afternoon / dinner pet care routine + potty break or walk, overnight stay + PM potty break, and morning pet care routine + AM walking or potty break. If an additional mid-day dog walk is needed, read on for the options below.
- Super Overnight: All services offered in a Standard Overnight, plus one 30-minute midday walk / visit. With this option, your pets won’t be without a friend for more than 5-6 hours, maximum, at any time during the day or night. (This is our most popular option.)
- Premiere Overnight: All services offered in a Standard Overnight, plus two 30-minute daytime walks / visits. A fantastic option for households with puppies, older dogs, or pups who are used to having lots of action / humans at home. With this option, pets won’t be alone for more than 3-4 hours, maximum, at any time during the day or night.
